11/08/08. So, after many "I'll do it tomorrow"s, I've finally gotten around to updating. Our last meeting consisted of me (Swallow, in case you've forgotten, and couldn't identify the picture of a Greater Striped Swallow.), Duckie, and Sandpiper (Pelican was out of town.). We discused the Girl Scout options given to us, and have decided to go see the woman's gymnastics at U-M, and something involving syrup. We also fufiled the task from last week, which was to choose an award to try to get this year in Troop Angry Swan. Duckie (a Junior) is going to do all of the Signs (Sign of the Star, Rainbow, Sun and World), and Swallow (i.e. me) is going to do the From Dreams to Reality Award. Duckie is currently working on the "Arcitecture" badge and the "Sew Simple" badge. Swallow (mig*) is working on the "Textile Arts" badge.For badge work, we worked on the Angry Swan quilt. All of the pattern pieces and the fabric is cut out, and we have sewn together the shield.
After that we had snack (Pringles) and watched a movie picked by Duckie (Colledge Roadtrip, which by coincidence had Molly Ephraim in it, and she was in the Into the Woods revival.). The meeting was planned by Duckie.
Before the next meeting, we all must do some badgework. The next meeting will be planed by Swallow (that's me), and will be on Nov. 28, 2008.
